Human Robots Launching SOON, Elon Musk, Optimus 2022
The race to replacing jobs through AI and Robotics is NOW- It will spread Globally
The Launch of a New Era
Elon launched AI day, focused on the technicalities specifically for recruiting AI and Robotics Engineers. Tesla's AI day debuts the launch of their humanoid robot, using its Autopilot technology on September 30th, 2022. Creating a human robot at scale to replace millions of jobs has been a fork in the road for many inventors, creators, and engineers.
Optimum,Tesla’s robot, has the potential to disrupt 10% of the United States workforce which are manufacturing jobs.

Side note. Humanity is inching its way closer to bringing robotics to life. AI is picking up steam and the majority of people are unaware of this wave of disruption that is about to unfold.
McKinsey Global Institute predicted that 45 million Americans—one-quarter of the workforce—would lose their jobs to automation by 2030. Evolution is the modern day revolution. This is a warning to all, “adapt or die”. This would have been a joke 20 years ago but now it’s our reality.
The tech Billionaire is known for his exaggerated launch dates. The cyber truck in 2021 and full self-driving robo taxi by 2022. The delay on both the Semi Truck and the roadster has caused a bit of skepticism with his products coming to reality.
There are 160,000 Tesla’s currently in full autonomy beta testing. This means the car is given the ability to do full self driving on highways, through cities, stop and go from lights and stop signs. Musk has said he expects Tesla will achieve full self-driving this year and mass-produce a robo-taxi with no steering wheel or pedal by 2024. “The potential of a humanoid robot can far exceed the revenue Tesla garners, Elon added”.
Perception from a Tesla Owner
Many are wary of the idea of full self driving. I consider myself an Elon maximalist, because he thinks big and has been doubted for creating revolutionary technology. It's bizarre to see people hate someone for being one of the most out of the box creators of our time.
I am an owner of a Tesla model Y with self-driving capabilities. That does not mean I have the ability to lean my seat back and take a nap while the car takes me to my destination. Tesla requires you to continuously touch the wheel to make sure you can take control when necessary.
Self driving makes traveling convenient and interesting. The car consists of 8 cameras located along the base of the car that pays attention to every angle, compared to the two eyes humans use to check all angles. This will change the future of transportation once humans are not in control of the wheel.
Elon states, Tesla is building a humanoid Robot that can lift a half ton Grand Piano for less than $20,000. The middle of the torso is where the 2.3 kilowatts battery is located. This is perfect and provides enough energy for a full day's work. The central computer, the brain, is positioned in the torso as well. The Bot Brain will process vision data, making split last minute decisions, communication with audio support, and hardware level security features.
The company strategically constructed its game plan to build the robot like it would its vehicles so they can mass produce them at scale. Investors and financial analysts have expressed skepticism that Tesla will ultimately be able to build the robot; they prefer to focus on projects closer to Tesla’s core business of electric cars.
The men and women during Elon’s presentation glued their eyes to the stage after he said, “This means a future of abundance. A future where there is no poverty. Where people can have whatever they want in terms of products and services.”
As the country grapples with worker shortages that have left a huge percentage of manufacturing jobs unfilled, companies are dreaming up new ways to automate work previously performed by humans. The efforts have faced criticism from organized labor but have also garnered acceptance when they can improve worker safety and open up new opportunities.
Innovation is taking the modern day human away from the mundane task of warehouse jobs. Good or bad, we are constantly evolving and finding new ways to achieve our dreams. Some say the humane race can be depleted if we allow robots with their own consciences to take form.
Our grade school education and collegiate level education must change to conform to changing times.
There will be future workshops, coaching, and programs to help you take hold of the skills of the future. Stay connected! Remember… first come, first serve.
Thank you all!
